Put catchcard.ai on your home screen

Added to the home screen, catchcard.ai opens full screen with its own icon — no browser bars, straight to the camera. It stays a web app, so it updates itself and needs no app store.

Desktop (Chrome & Edge)

  1. 1Look for the install icon in the address bar (a screen with a down arrow) and click it.
  2. 2Or open the ⋮ menu → Cast, save and share → Install page as app.
  3. 3catchcard.ai opens in its own window and can be pinned to the taskbar or dock.

Safari on macOS: File → Add to Dock.

Camera access

The installed app uses the same camera permission as the browser. Allow it once and scanning a card takes two taps.

Staying signed in

Sign in inside the installed app the first time — it keeps its own session, separate from the browser tab.

Updates

Nothing to update manually. Reopening the app always loads the latest version.

Works on iOS 16.4+, Android 8+, Chrome, Edge and Safari.
